Concho Springs Golf Course โ€” Culvert Repair

Following catastrophic flooding on July 4th, 2025, three bridge crossings within Concho Springs Golf Course failed due to excessive scour. As On-Call Engineer for the City of Eden, Moramax performed a site assessment and recommended replacement with 48" corrugated metal culverts from city stock, increasing hydraulic capacity from ~3.5 CFS to an estimated 114 CFS โ€” a critical improvement protecting the golf course without downstream impact.

Moramax prepared a full On-Site Sewage Facility (OSSF) Suitability Study per 30 TAC ยง285.4(c) for a 50-acre, 3-lot subdivision proposed for RV park development. Work included soil borings and geotechnical evaluation, 100-year floodplain analysis using the Rational Method, stormwater drainage planning, and regulatory coordination with Tom Green County and TCEQ Region 8.
